Toby Bond, MD
Dr. Bond grew up in suburban Atlanta. He attended college at UGA and medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. During medical school he was chosen for a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Dr. Bond has now been in practice in Georgia for more than twelve years; first in private practice, then as a Senior Associate in the Department of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and the Emory Clinic. He moved to Athens in 2003 and practiced as an inpatient physician at St. Mary's Hospital. From 2005-2009, he served as the Chief of the Department of Internal Medicine & Family Practice at St. Mary's.
